My Field Representative Al Tello attended the annual Yorba Linda Woman's Club High School Student Scholarship & Art Awards Ceremony.

YLWC out did themselves with an outstanding recognition of more than 80 young artists and scholars from the local high schools. The room was packed with over 230 parents, teachers, students, community leaders, and YLWC members.

Girl Scout Troop 1125 did a great job of leading the Pledge of Allegiance.

The winning artwork was displayed around the room. After the award presentations, students picked up their scholarship and recognition checks, totaling $40,000.

Proud parents, grandparents, siblings and other relatives were taking pictures and congratulating the award recipients. It was a special night to be able to be able to recognize all these fine young people.Photos from Supervisor Don Wagner's post

My District Director Scott Voigts and Outreach Director Saga Conroy joined the ribbon cutting ceremony for, Queen's HOME, a senior care home in Tustin, where they presented a certificate of recognition.

Queen’s Homes is a family-owned business, specialized in dignified, quality care for seniors. They provide a clean and friendly assisting living environment for seniors with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s, and other ailments that do not require round-the-clock skilled nursing. In addition to their the Tustin location, they have two more homes in Mission Viejo.

I wish the owners Kathy and Bob much success with their new location!Photos from Supervisor Don Wagner's post
